My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time. We ordered 2 fish tacos 1 shrimp burrito and 1 fish burrito.
I had no idea the burritos were that huge. You defiantly get your money's worth.. Needless to say they aren't shy with their meat.
Customer service was really nice.. They repeated everything back to me after I ordered (went through drive through) & repeated again when I was at the window. Highly recommend.
Nice little place. Good is always amazingly flavorful, delicious and fresh. Fish tacos are the best. Parking need to be bigger. It is so popular during busy dinner or lunch time sometimes it is impossible to find parking. But it totally worth it.
The fish was well prepared and had a lot of seasoning. The beans were very fresh along with everything else that was inside the burritos and tacos.
Looking at it for the first time I can say that I don't know that I found it too appetizing. It was a 5 pound mass of everything. After digging into it I changed my tune and wouldn't change anything about it!
Love this place. If you come here, get the fish tacos or the nachos. The sauces are great and the nacho plate is monstrous. I would say that it different from any other nacho platter I have ever had.
We came fairly late at night but this place was still pretty full with patrons. Nice music and ambiance. The nachos we had were really good, a thicker nacho or fried tortilla. Staff was friendly and helpful with the menu which I would say is the only downside. The sections and food options are good, but there was a lot of opportunity for mixing and matching different components that wasn't immediately obvious. The gentleman taking our order was helpful and answered my questions but I can imagine during a rush it might be difficult if you hadn't been here before to sort out what you were having for the best combination.
Do you like to eat tamales? If you do, get over to Lone Star pronto. Honestly the tamales are to die for, I sometimes dream about pounding down a plate full of these bad boys. I prefer the chicken, but you honestly can't go wrong. The burritos and fish tacos are also SPOT ON. This place is good, as evidenced by the crowds, but don't let that intimidate you. The service is speedy and efficient.
They have a really good selection of salsa.
